Help Haiti Today

Welcome to Extollo

The devastation following Hurricane Matthew is beyond comprehension, affecting 1.4 million people, damaging 100,000 homes and taking hundreds of lives.
The need for hurricane safe structures is more evident than ever.
The Extollo Training Center teaches Haitians how to build earthquake and hurricane resistant buildings.
Students learn how to lay block with the correct mortar mixture.
Trainees are tested and graded on how well they can build a lead. Is it plumb, level, straight, and with proper mortar joints?
As a comparison, Extollo-trained masons built the wall on the left. To the right is a typical Haitian wall.
Our hands-on training includes masonry, concrete, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and welding.
With unemployment approaching 70%, our training is crucial to the Haitian economy - and Haitian families.
With our construction skills, Haitians can find jobs, feed their families, and send their children to school.
